The quarterly magazine is published by the Chicago Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI). The spotlight includes a brief summary of BTC’s diverse capabilities and expertise along with descriptions of four highly successful concrete repair projects. BTC was also highlighted in a recent article in the Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWRI) Late Spring 2013 issue of the Applicator. The article, “Eye-Catching Restoration,” describes BTC’s recent Trinity Award-winning project completed at 1717 Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, DC. Finally, in the same Late Spring 2013 issue of the Applicator, Kami Farahmandpour is an expert contributor to the article entitled: “Documenting Your Business.” The article provides ideas and suggestions on how to protect your company in the event of a legal dispute by keeping files organized and up-to-date. Through his involvement as an expert witness in numerous construction defect claims, Mr. Farahmandpour has gained an appreciation and significant insight for the value of documentation in all phases of a construction project.
