BTC'S Charles Sietmann Promoted to Associate Principal

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC), is delighted to announce that Charles Sietmann has been promoted to Associate Principal.

Charles has been with BTC since 2005 and has earned several promotions throughout his tenure. Most recently, he has managed several complex projects and has demonstrated outstanding technical knowledge in BTC’s areas of expertise.

Charles is a Registered Roof Observer (RRO), a Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO), a Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA), and a Certified Level I Infrared Thermographer (CIT), with Roof Specifics. He is also an International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Certified Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Technician, Grade 1, a Certified American Concrete Institute (ACI) Adhesive Anchor Installation Inspector, and an FAA Certified Remote Pilot with a small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Rating.

Among his professional activities, Charles is the current Treasurer of CAC-Building Envelope Foundation NFP (CAC-BEF). In addition, he is also an active member of International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC – formerly RCI, Inc.), and serves on IIBEC’s Document Competition Subcommittee. Charles is currently the Immediate Past President of IIBEC-Chicago’s Board of Directors, and is also the Chair of Marketing Committee and Chair of the of the Chapter Service Award Committee for IIBEC-Chicago.
