IIBEC-Chicago Recognized as Platinum Chapter

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC) congratulates the Chicago Area Chapter of IIBEC (IIBEC-Chicago) on their recognition as a Platinum Chapter in IIBEC’s 2020 Outstanding Affiliated Chapter Awards program for the Chapter’s efforts in 2019.  This program was first implemented in 2004 and lays the foundation for successful chapter operations and provides recognition of those chapters each year. 

IIBEC-Chicago is comprised of International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) members in the greater Chicagoland area, including Consultant members Industry members, Quality Assurance Observer members and Facility Management members.  The chapter’s primary purpose is to provide in-service educational opportunities for members, as well as engendering positive working relations with local trade organizations, construction material manufacturers, and local product representatives.  Technical staff members from BTC are actively involved in the chapter, including Associate Principal Charlie Sietmann, who served as the President of IIBEC-Chicago from January 2019 through January 2020 and currently serves as immediate past president.
